Cookies and statistics
This website does not place any cookies itself and uses no visitor statistics. The fonts are hosted on my own site, so no data goes to Google when you visit.
Who I share data with
I never sell your data. I work with a few services that process data on my behalf:
- Tally (Belgium): the request form at the bottom of this site. The form is loaded into the page from Tally's servers, so Tally sees your IP address. What you enter is stored encrypted in Europe.
- Microsoft 365: my email and the storage of invoices (OneDrive).
- Cloudflare: the hosting of this website.
- Vercel and Supabase: my accounting software, with the data that appears on invoices.
- Anthropic: automatically reading supplier receipts in my accounts. Anthropic does not use that data to train AI.
I have agreements with these services about protecting your data. Some are American companies. If data leaves the European Union, this is based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.
No automated decisions
I use AI tools in my work, for example to build websites. I do not share your name, contact details or other personal data with them. The only exception is reading receipts in my accounts, see above. A computer never makes a decision about you on its own. I decide myself whether I take on an assignment and what I propose to you.
Data of your customers
Am I working for you on a website or system that contains data of your customers? Then you remain responsible for it and I am only a temporary processor. We sign a data processing agreement for this in advance. After the job, you revoke my access.
Help at home
When I help at home, I sometimes see what is on your computer or phone. I only look where you give permission, I take nothing with me and I store nothing. You type passwords and codes yourself. I leave no remote access behind.
Sometimes I look up a solution with the help of AI (Claude). I then only describe the technical problem, for example an error message. I never pass on your name, contact details, passwords or other personal data, nor screenshots that show them.
Security
I protect my accounts with two-step verification and only use services that store data encrypted. I do not take more data than necessary.
Your rights
You may view your data, have it corrected or have it deleted. You can also object, have the processing restricted, or request your data to take with you. Email [email protected] for this. I will respond within one month.
Not satisfied with how I handle your data? You can file a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
Changes
I may change this statement if my way of working changes. The date at the top shows when that last happened.
